Not online, but the honest to goodness real thing.

Since the internet, it is very rare for yours trully and considerably less than pre-internet days. Before it was a daily ritual and something that was always exciting to look forward to.

The Lightning go to battle in a home playoff game this evening and decided to run down to the corner and buy the ST. PETE TIMES to see what they had to say on tonights game.

To be honest, sort of a refreshing change of pace............think I will start making a habit of trying to read the paper more on a daily basis.

Get mine delivered every morning. It is VERY unusual for me not to read it after the paper work is done, and I scout the lines.

If things are really hecktic, like this morning, I usually get around to it around 3pm or so.

I can honetly say, I like reading the paper. I can pick and chose what I want to read, staying away from some of the negative media hype that is EVERYWHERE.

GL today fish.

I guess I'm old fashion and still enjoy the traditional newspaper.

I subscribe to the USA Today and my local paper everyday. I don't read them in the morning but usually throughout the day.

I read the newspaper every day and have for the last 20 years. It certainly helps in the real world to be informed. It amazes me the people who don't know what is going on in their local community even if it is big news.

I also read the newspaper every day. Usually buy one out of the machine before going into the coffee shop. Usually takes me about 3 cups of coffee and the newspaper before i dare to look at last nights scores.

exactly...

unless i'm on an airplane and i get offered a paper from the stewardess, i never read them.

no need to, the internet made them obsolete (for those of us that are online 24/7, i mean).

Net only - I've thought of subscribing to local newspapers' electronic editions, but I'm not loyal enough to any one paper to make it worth my $.

I enjoy reading the paper out by the pool, with a cup of coffee or bottle of Amber Bock/Michelob Ultra Amber/Budweiser or rum and coke. Actually, I enjoy reading anything about by the pool, on a sunny day, while listening to sports radio with a cool adult beverage in hand.

HAWKEYE that sounds familiar. I also have 32 inch TV mounted by the pool. I get the paper especially on Friday (weekend section) and Sunday's. I usually take the paper to Lunch with me. I hope to see the paper sitting on the bar top at my newest local watering hole as well.

Newspaper sales are down and not what they use to be, but I try to read the Miami Herald when I can.

If your new watering hole is where I hope it is, I'll try my best.
